• Jan Yatsko will be your bilingual guide/art journal instructor who has personally researched and designed this tour package.  Jan brings her knowledge of 9+ years of living in Costa Rica and 6 years of tour experience to you.
• Trip focus:  Participants will learn about and actively engage in Costa Rica’s abundant nature, rich culture, colorful art and delicious food. Jan Yatsko will also provide to each person the stimulus, encouragement and informal instruction to create a travel art journal filled with personal tour experiences. Your journals could include splashes of tropical colors, native natural materials, paintings, drawings, sketches, collages and written observations.  Fun daily creativity exercises will act as a catalyst to begin each journal page as well as develop your creative thinking skills to use in every day life.  This ADULT tour is designed to suit the needs of all ability levels and interests.  Pre-trip information will include a list of suggested art journal materials, what to pack and other essential travel information.  There are many optional activities for a spouse or friend who does not wish to create an art journal.

Registration/ Payment/ Cancellation: Tour size is limited to 10 people and will be filled on a first come basis. Complete payment of the tour package price will register you for the tour.  Payment is by check in dollars payable to: Jan Yatsko.  Registration deadline is November 20, 2008 for the winter tour and April 9, 2009 for the summer tour.  You can also check for last minute availability if you have learned about this tour after those dates. If cancellation is received in writing by post or by email by November 30, 2008 (April 20 , 2008 for summer tour) there is no penalty charge.  Between December 1, 2008 to January 1, 2009 (April 21 to May 21, 2009 summer tour) there is a 50% penalty charge of the tour price. Between January 2, 2009 (May 22, 2009 summer tour) to the beginning date of the tour in 2009, a 100% penalty of tour price. All cancellations must be received in writing, preferably by email. There will be no reduction, deferral or return of fees for late arrival, early departure or cancellation for medical or personal reasons, death in family, natural disasters, act of war, civil disruption or acts of God.  It is advisable that you purchase travel insurance. All monies paid for the tour will be refunded (excluding airfare) if a minimum number of people is not reached.
